Our Purpose

Who we are

Berean Bible Church is a nondenominational Christian church whose purpose is to glorify God by making Christ-centered disciples.  Our leadership and congregation creatively work together, using our spiritual gifts, to build one another up spiritually as we gather and to go out and reach those who have not yet responded to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

What we are about

Believing God – We are committed to the life changing message of Jesus Christ

Building up Believers – We are committed to developing believers into Christ-centered disciples

Changing the World – We are committed to living and sharing our faith in Jesus Christ 

What we believe

We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins, that he was buried and that he rose again according to Scripture.  We believe that anyone who places their faith and trust in Jesus Christ and his atoning work on the cross will not perish but begin an eternal relationship with God.  We believe that God has called us to be an instrument of the Lord to impact our community of Greene, and ultimately the whole world, with this life-changing message of Jesus Christ, without partiality or prejudice. 

 

The church ministries are led by Elders, Pastors and Ministry Team Leaders.  The church is governed by the members of the congregation, under a Constitution which gives executive authority to a Board of Elders, including a Senior Pastor.  The church finances and facilities are managed by a Board of Deacons. 

Through inspirational worship, fervent prayer, practical teaching, caring benevolence, loving

fellowship, and consistent outreach, we anticipate God’s blessing in the salvation of the lost and the spiritual maturing of believers which will result in the growth of the church, locally and universally.
