2004 One Way Carnival!

The One Way Carnival was held on June 12 as a fitting ending to another successful season for the One Way Program.  This program was created to give children in our community the opportunity to understand who Jesus Christ is.  The carnival tops off the season with all kinds of games and amusements that give the children a happy ending to this semester, looking forward to coming back in the Fall to continue in their education of our Lord.  The carnival has a coin toss, a ring toss, a disc toss, and a putting green.  There's a balloon covered dart board, ball-in-the-hoop toss, obstacle course, miniature car derby races, tug of war contests, water balloon batting practice (always fun to burst the water balloons with a plastic bat), and of course the favorite dunking booth.  Face painting was popular, too.  Everyone enjoyed, hot dogs, popcorn, and lemonade while trying out the many attractions.  The parents and game leaders had just as much fun as the kids.  We look forward to seeing everyone that is able back here next Fall.  Have a great Summer!
