More Men Take Short Term Missions Trip From Berean Bible Church
Six men from Berean Bible Church signed up for an opportunity to aid missionaries in Santiago, Chile, South America in late January and early February. The missionaries' names are Scott and Nikki Russell with ABWE. Four of the men were on their first short term missions trip. CWE (Construction for Worldwide Evangelism), once again, prepared for a project that would build a church for a missionary in South America and our men became an integral part of the teams. Berean Bible Church has teamed up with CWE over the past few years by sending people on churches building projects for missionaries in need. This is the third such project in which we've been involved since we became aware of CWE's efforts. The following photos show a portion of the events that took place during the men's trips to Chile. 7:15am - just minutes before landing in Santiago, Chile on January 30, 2005. The Andes Mountains were breath taking. |
The view during a stroll we took Sunday afternoon in the suburbs just blocks from our living quarters for the week... quite beautiful. |

We came on week #2 - first thing Monday, 8:00 am, pour the second floor concrete. This will prepare the second floor for building partitions tomorrow. |
While men were pouring concrete on floor 2, others were building trusses in the street for the roof that would go up later in the week. It's amazing to see who God puts together for these trips from all over the U.S.! |

| These wonderful ladies brought our lunch every day. They prepared all our meals throughout the week. Their work was never done. Sound familiar, all you wives back home? | We truly enjoyed the meals. Our lunch time was a good time to get to know one another. Many had humorous stories of other trips they had been on. Strong bonds were made in that short week. |
