More Men Take Short Term Missions Trip - continued.

Thursday brought the trusses up from ground level to be placed on top of the partitions. This is our last eight hours to get the outer walls sheeted, roof covered... ...as well as the bars and windows installed.  Bars on all windows, on all floors, is required due to the high rate of petty theft. Serious crime is very low in Santiago.
30 minutes left before the 5:00 pm close of another week completed on this project. It's time to sweep up and empty the rooms of tools and scrap materials. This is the 2 story facility as seen from across the street just before we left on our last day of work.  In a few days the team for week #3 will be here to side, shingle, insulate and wire the interior, among other things.
The team wanted to have a photo taken along side the new church before leaving that last morning.  What a great team! Pastor Scott and Nikki Russell, bottom row, left corner, were so excited with the progress on their new church. After leaving the job site on the last morning we were taken to the second church building site to be constructed in Santiago in April.  This tiny lot will be cleared for Pastor Doug and Sharon Kreeger's new church. I wonder if anyone from Berean Bible Church will feel led to go on this missions trip.
