Second Missions Trip to Chile - continued

The afternoon of day #3 was spend welding up the bar joists for the floor and installing some of the sheet metal flooring. The front steps and entrance were also completed. The next day has guys swarming all over both levels of the building. Flooring was going down, rough-in electric was installed on both levels and door jams and window bars were installed.
This is Dale and Mike installing the window bars.  Security from petty theft is a big issue down here. The final bracing is being welded in the basement. Just one of many tasks nearing an end for this week. Amen!
Now the masons are floor installers. Everyone has multiple trades (talents) when the call goes out for help. A portion of the rough-in electric for wall and floor outlets. Concrete will be poured over this floor, sealing the wiring in for good.
Clean up is here for our week. "I am one impressed laborer to have seen what these people could do in just a few short days. I am so blessed to be a part of what God has for these folks down here in Santiago." This is Christian with Sharon Kreeger. He is being trained to become the pastor of this church. At that point, Doug and Sharon will move on to start another church for others destined for His Kingdom.
The morning of our last day, everyone from the team came down to have prayer over the building with the leaders of the church. Then it was off to souvenir shop and site-see for a few hours before boarding a plane back home.

We felt like family by the end of the week.
