Uruguay 2007 continued...

The church prior to the tin installation. There's a motley crew.
While the roof was going on above, a crew was adding nailers for the ceiling vinyl that would be installed the next week. Men finishing the roof.
Interesting mode of transportation... quite common in Uruguay. And the doors are installed. Notice the property grade to the road. That will be addressed after the building is up.
The front porch is going on. What's that saying about a watched pot?
Wednesday evening church service was held in another church with the volunteers joining the church family for a great evening. There was lively music.
After the service, the crew spent time with the church family before returning to their living quarters. A father and his son came together on this trip.  It was a great bonding experience for them.
This church project was a big event for this community.  It made the papers. Jeannine (right) and another one of the women working hard at the meals again.  They are a happy group.
The roof and porch are on, the doors lock, and the windows are in. A good weeks work for this crew. The entire crew for week #2, along with a small friend.
