Short Term Missions Trip to Uruguay, South America
CWE returned to Uruguay in 2007 and two members from Berean Bible Church excepted the call to serve. They were Jeannine White and David Cook, both first-timers on the missions field. The church family sent them off with prayerful and financial support, needed greatly for their service to be a success. This church was built in the city of Fray Bentos, on the western coast of the country. Jeannine and Dave joined the crew at the Miami airport for week #2 of this project. Their goal was to add the roof, install windows and doors and build the front porch. The photos were taken throughout the week of their stay.
Our mission is to lead
people to Christ and help them grow as His followers.

| The nationals were already finishing the inside of the exterior walls with a mortar facing. | It rained the first few days. Jeannine (right) appears to be having fun. |

| While trusses were being built, the nationals joined in and brought in wheelbarrows of dirt to level the floor for the concrete pour that was to happen the next week. | The trusses are going up! |

| Meals are served smorgasbord style for the workers throughout their stay. | The ladies are crucial to the project. They supply encouragement, meals, and clean living quarters for the work crew. They keep things running smoothly. |

| Each evening, after devotions, many gather for an engaging game of dominos. | Hmmm, wonder if Dave won that night. |
