Christmas Eve at Berean Bible Church - 2006

The Christmas Eve service brought a wonderful children's play to Berean Bible Church depicting Jesus Christ's birth.  Written and directed by Wendy and Jerry Franz, this story was told by the animals at the stable at the time of Jesus' birth.  The set, costumes, music, and rehearsals were fully supplied/supported by many parents and assisting crew to help ensure the play effectively told the story of the coming of Jesus.  There were a few lighter moments as well.  For instance, the Rappin' Camels told the story from their perspective and, being rapping camels, the music carried a beat so contagious the other animals joined in.  These were happenin' camels with lots of rhythm and groove; their 'shades' helped keep the desert sun out of their eyes of course.  Everyone had a great time... and the audience loved it, too!

Joseph and Mary sat with baby Jesus as Darrell the donkey conveyed his message.   The sheep had a say in what happened that night as well.

Everyone got into it...

Even the cow, mice, and donkey

got their groove thing on!

It was totally righteous!
